Brought together by a shared commitment to advancing Kenya’s gold mining sector, the Kenya Chamber of Mines (KCM), the Impact Facility (TIF), Solidaridad Network, Migori County Miners Association (MICMA), and the Artisanal Small-scale Miners Association of Kenya (ASMAK) are proud to welcome industry professionals and stakeholders to Nyanza region for the Nyanza Gold Summit 2025, taking place from 14th to 16th July 2025 at the Vannah Hotel, Migori County.
The Nyanza Gold Summit 2025 is Kenya’s premier gold-focused mining investment and stakeholder engagement forum. Endorsed by the Ministry of Mining, this landmark event brings together key industry players, policymakers, miners, investors and global partners under one roof to explore new frontiers in Kenya’s gold mining sector.
Positioned as a boutique strategic conference, exhibition, and Mine Tour experience, the Summit aims to enhance Kenya’s visibility as an investment destination for both Large-Scale Mining (LSM) and Artisanal Small-Scale Mining (ASM). It places a strong focus on value chain development, access to finance and the future of responsible and sustainable mining.

Gold mining continues to play a vital role in Kenya’s socio-economic development. With artisanal and small-scale miners making up over 75% of Kenya’s gold production and employing over 258,000 miners, particularly in Migori County, the sector is both high-potential and under-resourced.
At the same time, large-scale investors and off-takers seek stable, transparent, and sustainable environments for growth. The Summit serves as a unique convening platform to unlock:
1. Investment opportunities in Kenya’s untapped gold resources.
2. Financing solutions for ASM operators.
3. Policy dialogues on coexistence and regulation.
4. Technology transfer and responsible mining practices.
The Summit is designed around high-impact themes that drive actionable change and inclusive growth:
Access to Finance
Linking miners to investors, financial institutions and support services.
Coexistence of LSM and ASM
Promoting legal compliance, peaceful operations and economic synergy.
Technology & Innovation for ASM
Improving safety, traceability, and productivity.
Sustainable & Ethical Mining
Strengthening ESG adoption across the value chain.
Gold Offtaker & Trade
Facilitating structured offtake agreements with licensed buyers.
