Biography
Dr.-Ing. Nashon Adero serves on the KCM Executive Council as the representative for professionals and academia. He is a lecturer of Mine Surveying and GIS at Taita Taveta University (Kenya).
A geospatial and systems modelling expert, Nashon brings a wealth of cross-sector experience spanning the engineering and construction industry, consultancy, academia, and policy research and analysis.
He holds a doctorate in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany), specialising in mining surveys and geodata-driven decision support for mine planning. He also holds an MSc in Resources Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and a BSc in Engineering (Surveying) from the University of Nairobi (Kenya).
